Shopping for fall clothing is something on everyone’s to-do-list this month. Make the most of your fall shopping budget by buying only what your child needs. If the jeans they wore in the summer still fit, there is no rush for new ones. Many fall programs require uniforms or special equipment, so put aside a little for those items too. Whether you are shopping for new or gently used clothing, there is no need to stress over back-to-school shopping. Our Share Savvy members (and moms) have shared reviews of their favourite children’s clothing stores to help you out.

• Based in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Rocky Mountain Kid is an online children’s store that carries a wonderful selection of quality clothing, outerwear and accessories for active kids. SavvyCal loves their year-round selection of outerwear.

• Located in Kensington, Purr Petite is a wonderful children’s boutique that carries funky clothing, shoes and accessories for kids from 0-8 yrs old. Kara says some of the brands are a little pricier, but both the quality and unique styles make the purchase worth it.

• One of Canada’s largest children’s resale stores, HuckleBerry Kids, buys and sells gently used and new children’s brand named clothing, toys, baby equipment, and furniture. Coljemdan loves their selection, price, fantastic staff, and the play area for the kids at the back.

• In Glendale, SavvyCal says Sproutz Kidz has the best selection of elementary school aged children’s consignment clothing in the city.
