Help Needed

I'm moving to Edmonton in October and have been trying to find activities for my 3 year old. In Ottawa the City runs all sorts of classes/activities. In Edmonton it looks like it is really only offered at the central arts centre. Where can I go to find the motherload of activities to choose from? Like gymnastics, kindermusik, dancing, art, etc.
Any other tips on Edmonton would also be very appreciated.
