Shopping for fall clothing is something on everyone’s to-do-list this month. Make the most of your fall shopping budget by buying only what your child needs. If the jeans they wore in the summer still fit, there is no rush for new ones. Many fall programs require uniforms or special equipment, so put aside a little for those items too. Whether you are shopping for new or gently used clothing, there is no need to stress over back-to-school shopping. Our Share Savvy members (and moms) have shared reviews of their favourite children’s clothing stores to help you out.

• Moms in Ottawa have their choice of consignment shops and these moms have done their research. Share Savvy user Greenclean, loves to shop for her children at Three Bags Full, her favourite consignment store that buys and sells gently used and new children’s clothing, toys, books, and games.
• The votes are in and this particular consignment store has received the greatest number of reviews. A trip to Boomerang Kids in Kanata is not to be missed. Mommynurse says she loves their great selection, prices, and the fact that Boomerang Kids always have the newest kid’s stuff! Crunchy Mama agrees Boomerang Kids has the best selection and lots of great new items too. Jemrah was pleased to discover that Boomerang Kidscarries great stuff for older kids too.
• A one-stop shop for beautiful children’s clothing, furniture and gift ideas, Chick Pea Children’s Boutique in Wellington Village is one store not to be missed. They specialize in special occasion clothing, but also carry funky, durable play clothing too. SavvyOtt says she can always find the perfect gift for any occasion.
• In Riverside, mominmotion shops at Moncion’s Independent Grocer, where they have a great selection of clearance children’s clothing.
