Good, authentic BBQ is difficult to find in our neighbourhood. So, when Hwy 61 opened up we couldn't resist. All of the meat on the menu is from local farmers and is hormone and antibiotic free. Some of our family favourites on the menu included: pork ribs (sticky), smoked chicken wings, sweet potato apple mash, and baked beans. They do have a kid's menu, but if your kids are meat lovers like mine, you may need to order extra. Big screen TVs for the sports fans and live music provide added entertainment value.

After reading this posting, we decided to try out this restaurant on Saturday night. The service was friendly and the food was good. The onion rings were good although greasy. We tried the wings, brisket, pork ribs and beef rib (there were six us of us!) and we thought the food was good and reasonably priced. I am glad that I didn't read the reviews on chowhound.com before trying out this place though. The reviewers hated this restaurant but I guess our barbeque taste buds are not as refined as theirs because we enjoyed our experience. Thanks for posting.
