A fish store opening on Bayview Avenue was big news for those of us who live (and work) in the neighbourhood. We have our fair share of bakeries and butchers, but until now there was no where to buy fresh fish. de la mer opened the first week of December and most days since have been sold out by end of day. The selection of fresh fish varies by day, depending on availability. I picked up Turbot (light and mild fish similar to sole) for the kids and I - seconds please mom! Closed on Mondays.
