As parents we spend tons of time and money trying our kids out in all kinds of activities and some end up amazing and some not so much. I feel like the best thing we've done so far for our son is sign him up for Scott Graham's kids 4 kids leadership programs. Scott is an author, singer/song writer, keynote speaker and director of the Kids 4 Kids Leadership programs and summer camps and he has been working with children in the Greater Toronto region for over 25 years. It is actually hard to even put into words how great Scott and his program is. My son had a few encounters with bullies before we signed him up for a program with Scott at a local church. That first night I went back early to 'peak' in the window (classic parent move) and see how it was going. My son was so engrossed in the story Scott was telling and was doubled over and holding his side in laughter. Scott has a way of engaging all different kinds of kids, he uses humour and true stories from his own childhood to bring to life everyday issues kids face from bullying to self esteen, from peer preassure to being positive. Scott's motto is "Changing the World One Child at a Time" and he lives up it, he's certainly changed our child!
